How much does it cost to hire a mobile bar?

There are many things to consider when hiring a mobile bar. Our prices are determined by the number of guests, hours of service, and individual needs of each client. Please fill out a form on our QUOTE PAGE, and we will get back to you promptly! Don’t worry, we will never send you spam or marketing emails when you fill out this form, it is solely for the purpose of gathering all the information needed to provide you with an accurate quote.

Why do I have to fill out a quote instead of finding prices on your website?

Every event is different. Our prices are dependent on the type of services you need, how many guests there will be, how many hours of service you require etc.. Because of this, we can’t give a one size fits all price to everyone.  Visit our Mobile Bar page which has a calculator for that service. More calculators will be added soon for other services!

Who Provides the Alcohol?

AGLC (Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission) doesn't allow mobile bars to hold a liquor license. Trust us, if there was a way, we would have found it!  You purchase the alcohol, and a one day liquor license (as low as $25) and we do the rest. We are happy to guide you through this easy process. Click HERE to visit the AGLC website for a quick and easy application.

My event is at a private residence, do I still need a liquor license?

AGLC does not require a liquor license at a private residence, because liquor sales are prohibited in a private residence. If you want to hire our bar for your private event at your home, we are more than happy to provide our services! But we are unable to accept payment from your guests for the drinks they get. It must be an open bar if your venue is a residential property.

What's included in my booking?

Visit our Services pages for a detailed list of what we offer with each different service.  All of our standard bartending and mobile bar services come with:

- Decorations for the bar area to match your theme

- A minimum of two professional and licensed bartenders, trained in upselling techniques to make you the most money at your event (if you choose a paid bar)

- Garbage and recycling bins

- Setup before your guests arrive, teardown at your specified time

- Large water dispenser

- Drink mix such as pop and juice

- Disposable cups

- Garnishes such as fruit and vegetables

- Ice, straws, napkins, and all of the required barware

Do I need to send a deposit?

We require a $500 nonrefundable deposit when booking our services, and the remaining balance is due within 30 days of your event. The deposit will go toward the final bill.

What is your cancellation policy?

Your $500 deposit is non-refundable. This pays for our staff to perform clerical duties such as preparing quotes, contracts, and communicating with our clients before and after they sign a contract.

The remaining balance for your contract is due within 1 month of the event. If the balance is not paid within this timeframe; we will make every effort to contact you and collect the outstanding balance. We will automatically cancel our services within 3 business days of no-contact, and your deposit will be forfeit.

If you have paid the remainder of your fees on time, or your event is longer than 30 days away but you still wish to cancel our services, you may postpone the date (providing we are available for your requested date) or you may transfer our services to someone else (either on the date that was initially booked, or a different date if we are available). If you are transferring or postponing, the services we provide must exactly match the initial quoted services. If you or the person you transfer to wish to add services, have more guests, or want longer service hours, this difference must be paid immediately (or within 1 month of the service).

Why does it cost more to have an open/ticketed bar?

Our staff are seasoned veterans in the bar/restaurant industry. These people take time away from their regular jobs in order to provide you with the service you're requesting. Most of these regular bar/restaurant jobs allow for tips to be made. When your guests pay for their drinks with cash and card, there's an opportunity for our staff to accept tips. When your guests don't pay for their drinks, or they receive their drinks with tickets you sell/ give to them; there's no opportunity for tips. We charge an automatic gratuity of $100 per bartender if they don't have an opportunity to accept tips from your guests. This ensures that our staff are well compensated for their work, and for taking time off from their regular jobs where they would otherwise be making tips.
